During Participation in "Join the Dialogue!" European Egyptian Cultural Programme: What happened and What is Next?" in Goethe-Institut Kairo, Dokki on Saturday, 27 May, 2023.

We were the main speaker with Waguih El Laqany, Founder and Executive Director of Art Everywhere (L.L.C) in Panel 2: Accessibility and Cultural Programs. Is Culture for All?, moderated by Cathy Coastin, Head of Arts at the British Council in Egypt.

Through this Panel, We talked about inclusive arts and cultural production, how to access the artists with disabilities into the scene and how to face the challenges which related to affording accessible spaces, trainers and accommodated arts Programs.

 

The Culture and Climate Summit is a two-day retreat exploring the interface between the cultural sector and the climate crisis. The summit, led by Orient Productions (Egypt) and Julie's Bicyle (UK) and supported by The British Council, is a convening of leading cultural voices in Egypt who will explore the international and local dimensions of culture and climate action, with a view to longer term sectoral legacies and collaborations.
 

The summit aims to achieve an action plan to guide our sector forward on different arts and cultural aspects starting from the opportunities to the challenges facing in the scene and hoe to collaborate to achieve more sustainable arts projects.

 

The first summit was on 20 May to 22 May, 2023 at Sekem Guesthouse, Belbeis. ​

Khatwa is the biggest career fair for persons with disabilities in Egypt brought by Helm Egypt. It's an annual Event aiming to help them to take a step towards their dream jobs and get a chance to explore opportunities in +30 companies! 

​

During participation in Khatwa, we targets to increase our artists with disabilities talking about our arts programs and performances, besides our work and internship opportunities.

Mahrousa Arts Events is a series of events organized by Nahdet Elmahrousa NGO to celebrate the work of creative entrepreneurs who use their art to make a societal impact. Over the course of 5 days, different events will be organized in different locations.

We participated in the Summit Activities through performing "Getting Together" an interactive contemporary dance performing acted by 2 performers with hearing disabilities; Madonna Gamal, John Emad Rafala and directed and Choreographed by Ibrahim Abdo. 

Techne Summit is an international multi-industry-focused Investment & Entrepreneurship event that aims to impact multiple sectors and stakeholders of the Startup Communities in The Mediterranean Region through showcasing different technologies and their application in each industry.

We participated in a fireside chat titled "OCC Spark on Those Behind Impact: How Can They Be Changing the Present?" during the summit 2022 at Alexandria.

 

The chat was Moderated by Menat-Allah Kamaledin, Cultiv LLC Community Manager, Powered by Cultiv LLC and Organized by Orange Corner Cairo a as one of their incubated start-up in the inclusive arts and culture scene.​

Actor's Carnival is the MENA region first event to discover new talents in acting which, the 1st edition has been located in Royal Club Mohamed-Aly on 19th of July, 2022.

​

It's a one-day event filled with activity booths, acting competition with the most important juries in the cinema and drama industry.

 

We participated as a Community Partner to aware the audience about our work to inspire and include the artists with disabilities in the art and culture scene through our art programs and productions.​​​
