Our
Values
Inclusion
We acknowledge that everyone has a kind of disability, visible or invisible, so we value the needs of everyone and strive to promote an accessible-centered approach through artistic processes, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Artistic-Access Centered
We believe that inclusivity and access-centered are not separate from the artistic proficiency processes; they support each other. Therefore, Mulberry Tree (MT) looks at the disability as an asset that can support the stories and performances and unlock the innovation potential through the artistic and theatrical community.
Community Partnerships
We acknowledge and appreciate all art and culture communities that contribute to our journey towards theatrical and artistic inclusivity, striving for sustainable partnerships to achieve our goals.
Awareness Process
We consider that most of the successful professional artistic processes start from enforcing the awareness and mind perception processes; therefore, we provide disability awareness, taking part to avoid the stigma around disability in the artistic and cultural scene.
Self Expression and Stories’ Magic
Mulberry Tree (MT) was inspired by a story of a girl with a visual disability, so we value listening to the different stories and its’ role in changing the community through generating creative ideas that could play an effective ripple in the theatrical and artistic process; therefore, we encourage everyone to express themselves through inspiring stories.
Equality and Respect
Everyone has the same rights and duties, in our opinion. Since the idea of artistic inclusion fosters respect and does not single out any individual, we constantly strive to guarantee that everyone has an equal chance based on their talent, competence, and enthusiasm for the creative process.
